In 2025, Donate for Dreams proudly launched a project to provide mathematics learning equipment and books to the T-Ratana Community Center in Pannipitiya, Sri Lanka. This initiative, directed and organized by Malindu Talagala, was designed to support students in need of additional educational resources. Through this effort, a total of 32 students benefited. Many of these children previously had limited access to mathematics books, learning tools, and other educational materials outside the classroom. By equipping them with these essential resources, the project aimed to make a meaningful difference in how they practice, understand, and build confidence in mathematics.

The core purpose of this Donate for Dreams initiative was to provide students with practical learning materials to strengthen their mathematical skills and support their overall academic development. We hoped to create additional opportunities for students to practice what they learn in school, improve their problem-solving skills, and continue nurturing their interest in education.

This project holds a deeply special place within our organization due to the incredible personal commitment of its organizer. The donation was entirely funded by Project Director Malindu Talagala, who generously dedicated the earnings from three months of his part-time work to support these students. Though he humbly views it as a small personal contribution, Donate for Dreams recognizes the profound impact of using his hard-earned resources to uplift students who genuinely needed the support. We share his hope that this contribution will make a lasting difference in their learning and open up new opportunities they might not otherwise have had.

Donate for Dreams is deeply grateful to have brought this vision to life and to provide resources that support both the education and personal development of these students. We hope these materials will not only help improve their mathematical knowledge and confidence but also encourage them to continue working toward their educational goals and future dreams.
